Silvanwood puppies are born and raised in my home. Puppies are handled eveyday to develop confidence and adaptability. Puppies experience a program of environmental enrichment once up on their feet and out of the whelping box. This includes new toys, new physical challenges to explore, a range of people and normal household noises. Puppies are independently assessed at 8 weeks for structural soundness and temperament to enable placement of puppies in the right home. Puppies are noramally placed at 10 weeks.

Our girl Freckle (Wiletdo Freckled Lace) has a litter puppies. The sire is Focus (Faithet Woody Willow). Both parents are DNA tested clear of CL and CEA. The puppies are now 3 weeks old. A black & white boy, a blue merle girl, 2 blue merle boys, a chocolate merle girl and 2 chocolate merle boys are available. Wottapud Border Collies live on 60 acres 10 minutes drive from Gympie. We are very committed to our dogs and because of that we prefer to meet all people who purchase a puppy. While we are registered breeders and our dogs are of show standard, we treat our dogs as our family and breeding the occasional litter helps to pay for their upkeep. Since our dogs are a special part of our family it is really important that they have a good temperament and this as well as good health are our main priorities in our breeding.

At 8 weeks puppies are independently assessed for both structural qualities and temperament. The aim of this assessment is to ensure that puppies will suit their prospective homes.
